Course:   Power of Connection (POC)

This course is all about connecting to yourself, connecting to your purposes for your relationships and connecting to other people, whether in your work or home life.  It is centred on being real and authentic, whether you feel loving or resentful. or both at the same time.  It enables you to understand complex feelings and to shift them so that they reflect what you really want in your life, for both yourself and those who you care about.

We will have a small group of about 8 people taking the course, and one or two team members, as well as myself to support each person well. We use group work, facilitated individual and pair work in a safe, and beautiful environment.

We will start the week on Sunday evening with a meal together, use Monday, Tuesday and Thursday as course days. On Wednesday and Friday you can either visit local markets and beauty spots or you can choose to have a quieter time walking in the forest which in behind the house, swim in the pool, lie in a hammock or meditate in the meadow. We will eat together most evenings and at lunch times on local and deliciously prepared food. Vegetarian and vegan food is always on the menu as is gluten free food.

The course has a self preparation exercise and ongoing work to take the tools learnt into your every day life.

After the course there is an opportunity to get ongoing, free, group support and downloadable e-seminars. As for all the mentor courses, there is a money back guarantee if you complete the course and do not find any benefit in the material. This has not yet been the case! This would be the course costs and not all the accommodation and food costs.

This course has CPD certification and credits.  Please speak to Zoë Grace for more details.

Course:   Power of Self Esteem (SEE) for Professionals

Do you want to have more emotional resilience in your workplace? In this time of austerity, with reduced staff numbers and increased workloads, are you finding it difficult to keep your feet on the ground and to act out of your own integrity? Is the idea of going home sick more attractive than ‘battling it through’? Work/life balance – aspiration or reality?

We will be looking honestly at these issues and how they can connect with old beliefs that you have about yourself, life and other people. We will teach you skills that will enable you to choose how you are, rather than feeling knocked from pillar to post. You will learn how to acknowledge your qualities and make solid choices.

We will have a small group of about 10 people taking the course, and two team members, as well as myself and co-mentor Jo Maughan to support each person well. Our professions range from social work, education, accountancy and financial services. We are an experienced and solid team. We will use group work, a DVD, facilitated individual and pair work in a light, airy and supportive environment.

The course has a set of CDs or downloads for each participant with supplementary and explanatory material and is a mixture of experiential exercises and underlying psychology.

After the course there is an opportunity to get ongoing, free, group support and there is still a money back guarantee if your self esteem is not suitably enhanced after the course!

24 & 25 Oct 2015 | The Power of Self Esteem for Raising Children & GROW

Print this entry

Course:   The Power of Self esteem (SEE) for raising children & (optional) GROW

This course is for parents, grandparents, foster parents, people hoping to be parents and child care professionals.
It is free standing but also comes with the opportunity to take Growing Up Well (GROW) for parents and children on the following week.  See poster and information below.

We will be looking honestly at issues connected with parenting, keeping your primary relationship strong, family dynamics and how to balance work and childcare, whether your work is directly with children or not. All of these are ripe ground for old beliefs about who you are and how you have to be, on your own, with others or in Life in general. Not forgetting all the demands about how your children have to be!

You will learn skills that will enable you to choose how you are, rather than feeling overwhelmed by all the demands from others, and how to have loving and real relationships with children. These tools will include how to acknowledge your qualities, as well as theirs, and make solid choices that will create a different relationship within your family or workplace.

We will have a small group of about 10- 12 people taking the course, and three team members, as well as myself, to support each person well. Our experience ranges from myself ~ child care professional, grandmother & mother, to a mother of young adults, a writer of children’s literature and a lovely young woman closer to being a teenager than any of the rest of us! We are an experienced and solid team. We will use group work, a DVD, facilitated individual and pair work in a light, airy and supportive environment.

The course has a set of CDs or downloads for each participant with supplementary and explanatory material and is a mixture of experiential exercises and underlying psychology.

GROW will be held on 27,28 & 29 Oct. 10.00 -4.30
This is an integrative arts course for parents and children and will be exploring issues for self esteem for children aged either 7-9 or 10-12. Parents need to have done the SEE course, either this one or a previous one.

Making puppets, collage work, drama, art work and talking together will be just part of the mix. We have the use of a large village hall plus a room at the back for planning or break out work (either for adults or children!).  Each child will have a workbook as part of the course in addition to keeping what they make. Some of the course will be for all ages together, some will have specific age-related exercises. We will be encouraging growth through respect, kindness, fun and boundaries and none of us are too old, or young, for that!

If you would like to know more about either course ring me on 01379 851959 or 07813035763
