Leapfrog Training was created by Zoë Grace Cozens in 1996 following 15 years of experience as a social worker, local authority trainer and strategic planner. She has worked in both adult services and children and family teams, in hospital and community social work. Her role in strategic development has always been on a multi-agency and multi-disciplinary basis, whether in workforce development or as Norfolk County Council’s Adult Protection Co-ordinator.
Leapfrog’s specific areas of expertise for businesses are in conflict resolution; policy writing; managing staff; professional coaching; building emotional resilience and professional effectiveness.
Leapfrog‘s specific areas of expertise in social care are in safeguarding adults at risk; sexuality and intellectual/physical impairment; validation therapy and sensory stimulation in dementia care and team building and communication. Within each of these areas we can offer consultation services and coaching, as well as policy writing and training your staff. We also integrate these subject areas, for example including safeguarding issues in sexuality training or sexual dis-inhibition in dementia training.
There are also courses for service users who are involved in advocacy, want to strengthen their self esteem or to explore relationships and sexuality. Our experience enables us to combine sensitivity, creativity, humour and clear boundaries when working with service users or staff. Where possible we work along side service users in developing and delivering staff training. We work countrywide.
