What is a Midweek Marvel?
It is a time for you. You get to listen to whatever is knocking on that door which will open you to your next stage of growth, consolidation or resolution. You get the undivided attention of an experienced mentor, coach and integrative arts facilitator, Zoë Grace. You come to our home in France, which is an oasis of peace overlooking forest and an ancient church. You get nurtured and cared for so that you can nurture and care for yourself when you return home.
You will generally come either from Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday, Over this time you can choose which ways of working are the very best for you. You can stay in your ‘comfort zone’ or stretch out to do things you never have before. This is your time!
Ideal for: overstressed workers, overworked parents, couples or family members who want to build new relationships, anyone in a time of uncertainty or flux ~ you!
We will do an initial coaching session so that you can decide on your desired outcomes. What you want may change during the exploration!
Methods of working:
Personal development and mentoring: building on previous work you have done we will review and use techniques to shift long held beliefs and unhelpful behaviour and have solid plans for the future.
Integrative arts: visualisation, working with paint, collage, mask work, interactive drama, clay sculpting, story telling or writing. Powerful insights and new options arise.
Coaching: empowering questions, the wheel of life, the rocking chair or the fairy dust exercises. Coaching focuses on adventuring into the future rather than resolving or healing issues from the past.
As I am a singer we can do voice work or sing out innermost dreams. Behind the house is only meadow and forest so it is a perfect place to witness your own voice. The forest is also ideal for walking meditations or a place of stillness for restorative being. Next door to us are the grounds of an old and crumbling chatteau. We are in a beautiful conservation area.
Homecooked, locally sourced & organic where possible.
Breakfast ~ a choice of croissants, home made jam, baguette, eggs, ham, fruit, cereals, vegetables or smoothie. I also make delicious banana pancakes.
Lunch ~ soup, salad, bread, cheeses including soya cheese, ham and the like. LLittle cakes may make an appearance!
Dinner ~ either meat based, vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten free. The registration form is the place to let me know what you want/need to eat. We will have wine or beer in the evening as well as water and fruit juice. Alcohol will be in moderation!
All rooms in the house have central heating plus there is a wood burner in the lounge. There are showers and toilets on both floors. Your personal space can be either:
the little yurt cosily tucked under a lime tree in the walled garden behind the barn. This has a double bed, wood burner, little tables, rugs, cushions and places for clothes. The yurt is available until the end of November or
a double bedroom in the largest bedroom in the house, oak beamed and looking out over the meadow and forest. There is a comfy settee for general sprawling. With the woodburner below it is particularly warm and cosy in winter.
Timings and Travel:
Midweek Marvels can either be from Monday to Wednesday or from Wednesday to Friday. Other times can be negotiated. During the winter there are more flights available to Limoges than to Poitiers. There is an excellent train service from Limoges to Montmorillon.
We will collect you from either Poitiers rail station or airport or from Montmorillon station. There is a good rail service from London to Poitiers. French trains are clean, comfy and incredibly roomy!
If you are closer to Gatwick you can take a plane to La Rochelle or Bordeaux via Easyjet. Although further on the map there are faster trains from Bordeaux to Poitiers where we will collect you.

“I had a delightfully relaxing few days in Zoë Grace and her husband Frank’s beautiful home near Montmorillon in France while my daughter received 1-2-1 life coaching from her. It was a great break for me, swimming in her pool, swinging in her hammock and eating delicious and healthy homemade food. My accommodation was a lovely, large room with a fabulous view and a very comfortable double bed, while my daughter was delighted to stay in their yurt in the garden. Zoë Grace and Frank were extremely hospitable hosts, sensitive to both mine and my daughter’s preferences. They took us to beauty spots in the area, to the local market and to see a live band. All in all a very successful trip that worked well for both of us.” KE Brighton
“From these few days with you I have learned a way to deal with my anger, a way to deal with my inner mind talk and how to esteem myself. I would like to carry this on further so that I may learn more life skills. It was lovely to do this in such a beautiful place and I particularly liked staying in the yurt. What was really good for me was that you saw me in the way I wanted to be seen and that helped me to see myself in that way too. By this I mean honest, caring, sensitive, persistent and clever. Thank you very much.” 17 year old daughter, Brighton
