A new course which has run twice very successfully and which I am very excited about. Unlike the UK versions which are one expanded day this course is more leisurely, starting with a meal together on Friday evening and covering all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Flights back to the UK go on Sunday afternoons or you could make a long weekend of it and fly back on Monday from Poitiers to London Stansted. If you already live in France or have friends here you can do the course and choose whether to eat with us in the evening or not. Prices can be adjusted and spread. Course costs will be paid in sterling and food and accommodation in euros on arrival.
Why do the course? In order to build on your strengths and qualities so that you can create a year ahead that inspires you and brings you deep satisfaction.
What will we do? Create and interact through paint, collage, storytelling, mask work and touchstones.
How will we work? Individually, in pairs, in threes and as a whole group of 12, with support and facilitation from Zoë Grace and Jay Mooney.
Will there be support after the course? Yes, you will be offered the chance to do an online course consolidating and expanding the work from the weekend.
What if I am not sure that it is for me? There is a free Zoom call on Monday May 20th from 7.30pm – 9.00pm. Here is the link https://zoom.us/j/971033148
What have people said about it? “This course ticked all the boxes for me. It was fun and very absorbing using all the arts materials and a great way to explore and express my journey and all the other things covered. The thing that surprised me most was the degree of connection with the other participants. During the mask work in particular I experienced this support in a way that was memorable and has sustained my learning.” Lex Penn-Carver. “Zoe Grace, thank you so much for your artistry throughout the day, for your sensitivity and for creating a safe space. Thank you for sharing so much of who you are…. Your inner light was there for us all to see, which gave us all permission to open. My first experience of Embrace Yourself was tough ,no doubt about that, but the opportunity to explore and meet my self and others through creative expression was extremely powerful and at times challenging. ” “Don’t be put off this course because you think you are not creative. You don’t have to be an artist and the work is about what you discover inside yourself rather than what you produce. I found the day challenging and fun in equal measures. Zoe Grace led the day with sensitivity, love and enthusiasm which created a space that was safe for people to gradually let their barriers down and to be able to not only look at their ‘true self’ but also let others see that too. Something I wouldn’t have thought possible in a one day course.” Jay Mooney
“I found Zoe Grace patient, supportive and very understanding. She made everybody feel comfortable and at ease so it felt okay to be open when talking within the group. The exercises were fun but meaningful and had a powerful impact on me. I felt as if I had confronted what I had been denying and felt very positive towards the end. I understood myself better after taking part in the course and this made me feel more content with myself.“
